About me

When I was nine years old, through fever-ridden dreams and waves of nausea, I came to the shocking realization that the systems built to help people don’t always work. I’m sure that I would have learned my lesson any other way, but the consecutive betrayal of a misdiagnosed bout of food poisoning lit a fire within me that I have carried to this day. There are problems out there in dire need of solutions, especially in healthcare and wellness. And ever since that week I have dedicated myself to learning how to apply my technical skills and creative thinking to interesting and simple problems alike.

In Spring 2026 this work culminated in a bachelors of science from the University of Colorado Boulder in Creative Technology and Design with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. There I got to work in multiple labs researching novel biomaterials, wearable devices for studying adolescent stress response, and self-guided cognitive development interfaces for young children. As a Designer and an Engineer, I am excited to bring accessibility to medical devices by leveraging playful interactions and research driven approaches to create solutions tailored to the people it would help.
